By setting the right expression of the Staging Monkey story, the brand's esthetic and KPIs were merged to bring the platform into the client's goals. As I started working on this project I noticed that there would be delays due to the nature of working with a small business. This time was spent on productive tasks and insuring that I spoke up for assets and copy needed in order to complete the website in a timely manner.

This project was put on pause numerous times throughout the year, the owner was contested as to whether or not to continue the business in the particular direction. With goodwill and encouragement from outside sources, I decided to complete the project.

I was keen on exercising my skillset, working with new industries that focus on 3D assets, as well as being impeccable with my word. This project helped me sharpen my communication for what was exactly needed from the client, which allowed me to be more of a hands-on product designer. I felt like I was a part of a team that truly cares about bringing a tactful product to the market and helping design it in a fun and creative way.

In this project, I learned a lot about the challenges small businesses are facing currently and I'm hopeful the website will be launched soon.

The owner established her small business around real estate photography and needed help to define her brand as she entered a new service, virtual staging. We discussed branding opportunities and decided on the name "Staging Monkey" as an online business in order to bypass the heavy costs of physically staging a home with real furniture and to retain more control over marketing and distribution. The website was the main selling point, as the front of the brand, and as a tool to expose clients to the brand. Essentially creating the plug and play solution for getting virtually staging done concisely. That decision was consistent with brand values ​​based on personal attention and credibility.
